ENCUENTRO DE VILLANCICOS
Con la presencia de los colegios Trinity School, Alemán, Santa María Belén, Francis School y el nuestro, se desarrolló el jueves 5 de Diciembre, el cuarto encuentro coral de Villancicos, instancia de paz y sosiego que vivimos en este tiempo de Adviento, donde la oración como preparación a la Navidad se hace a través de la música. En esta oportunidad además de los alumnos, pudimos disfrutar con los acordes de un grupo de mamás quienes durante todo el año han trabajado preparando sus voces para deleitarnos, el cierre a la actividad estuvo a cargo del coro de cámara de la Universidad del Norte, quienes nos dejaron con una profunda emoción, después de su excelente participación.
PRIMERA COMUNIÓN 2013
El sábado 30 de noviembre, en el Santuario de Santa Teresita de los Andes, nos reunimos para acompañar en el gran paso que dieron en su fe un grupo de alumnos de nuestro Colegio, la eucaristía celebrada por nuestro asesor espiritual, padre Jorge Marín, fue la Primera Comunión de alumnos de 4° y 6° básico que durante dos años fueron asistidos en la catequesis por el gran grupo de apoderadas que de manera desinteresada y solidaria trabajan en el área de Pasdtoral.
ENGLISH MADE FUN: OPEN CLASSES, PROJECTS, TRIVIA, SPELLING BEE AND MORE.
During the past week, English came alive for our community with lots of activities: classes, contests and workshops were enjoyed by all our students as well as their parents.
We started the week with the Assembly where we awarded students who stood out not only for their skills but also for their attitude towards the subject with Best English Performance Award. Later that day, 5th and 6th graders enjoyed a recycling workshop, where they created jewelry, toys and other things made out of waste material.
On Tuesday we held the Trivia Contest for 7th and 8th grades. It was a fun time to demonstrate how much students know about the Anglo-Saxon culture. The winners were 7th A and 8th B. ...

CAMPEONATO AJEDREZ
El viernes 15 de noviembre se jugó la final de ajedrez categoría básica resultando campeón, el alumno Aldo Albasini Jara del sexto básico B y vice campeón la alumna Francisca Alarcón Flores del sexto básico A. Felicitaciones a ambos competidores.

CICLS: PIONEERING IN OUR REGION IN CERTIFYING STUDENTS WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE PET EXAM.
Over the past few months some students, from 11th and 12th grades have been working with Mr. Stephen Lovell in preparation to take the PET (Preliminary English Test). PET is an exam to earn a certification in English.
The students spent time each week practicing speaking, listening, writing and reading skills to get ready for the exam.....
